Goat milk is distinguished from other types of milk in that it is rich in saturated and unsaturated fats, which in turn provides soap with wonderful properties, including:
⁃ Moisturizing and nourishing the skin.
⁃ Increases soap lather and makes a luxurious creamy texture.
Milk contains large amounts of caprylic acid, which in turn allows for a gentle cleansing and removing dirt without stripping the fatty acids present naturally in our skin . Thus, it maintains the moisture, health and beauty of the skin.
Goat Milk contains lactic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid, that gently removes dead skin cells and encourages skin renewal, and these properties are ideal for skin lightening, and for reducing skin pigmentation, discoloration, wrinkles and early signs of aging.
It is also rich in fatty acids and cholesterol, which make up a large part of the skin's membrane. And the lack of these elements in the skin leads to dryness and skin irritations.
Goat milk - especially organic - contains a large amount of vitamin A, which is a fat-soluble vitamin that shows great anti-aging properties.
It is worth noting that milk contains a good percentage of selenium, a mineral that supports a healthy skin membrane.
This soap may also improve symptoms of psoriasis and eczema such as dryness and skin irritation.
